Menagerie turns the creatures you meet into a natural-history collection worth keeping.

Photograph an animal — a garden bird, a rock-pool crab, a fox at dusk — and Menagerie identifies it, then writes it up as a proper exhibit: the field marks to look for, where it lives, what it eats, its conservation status, and a curator's note you'll actually enjoy reading.

Every creature you catalogue is pressed onto a brass-plated specimen card and filed into one of six halls.

Each hall unlocks the first time you catalogue something that belongs in it.

A PROPER FIELD GUIDE Every specimen gets a full entry: distinguishing field marks, preferred habitat, diet, taxonomy from class down to genus, IUCN conservation status, and a "Where to find" map showing the species' natural range worldwide.

YOUR OWN RECORD Menagerie remembers where and when you met each creature. Every encounter is logged as a sighting and pinned to a map, so your collection doubles as a diary of where you have been. Meet the same species again and it is added to that animal's record rather than duplicated.

EARN YOUR RANK Work up the curatorial ranks in every hall — Apprentice, Field Collector, Cataloguer, Curator and finally Director Emeritus. Rarity is judged by how often a keen amateur naturalist actually encounters a species in the field, not by global population, so a genuinely elusive find counts for something.

SHARE THE FIND Export any specimen as an exhibit card — a shareable keepsake styled like a museum plate.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period.
